A delightful Southwest dining experience!
In the 1890s, when Dr. Thomas Paul (Doc) Martin came to Taos as the county's first, and only physician, he bought the largest of the houses...now Doc Martin's Restaurant. Today, Doc's original home is an historic landmark housing an acclaimed fine dining establishment. Doc's is a true Taos tradition, earning multiple awards accompanied by the fabulous Regional New American fare served. Executive Chef Zippy White specializes in organic foods with a splash of the Southwest, while incorporating local chilis, fish and meats. Vegetarian options are also availble.

Award winning wine cellar
With over 400 wine selections, from the highest quality affordable labels, to the finest vintages, our world class wine list has earned Wine Spectator's "Best Of" Award of Excellence for 18 consecutive years. Pastry Chef Gayle Glanz offers sumptuous desserts which tantalize the senses and round out any Doc's dining experience.

Doc Martin's serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and both Saturday and Sunday Brunch. Many guests join us each year for Doc's special event and holiday menus. Occasions such as wine dinners, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and Mothers Day are not to be missed. Reservations are recommended. Please call (505) 758-1977 for more information on holidays and special events, or view our menus online.
